Splice Low-Res

Splice Low-Res is a virtual media community check-in.

Hello, this is Splice Low-Res.
How are you?

Low-Res is an online WIP, a check-in on the media community. You'll also find practical knowledge that we'll be sharing through partner workshops.

We'll also do the occasional BYOB — Bring Your Online Beverage — just so we can just hang out for the sake of hanging out like it's 1999.

Register for our latest live Low-Res here, or watch past Low-Reses.

Either way, we want to know how you're doing. ♥︎

“This show was legit. It felt like an actual community of energetic and highly-positive media pros. Thanks for creating the space. You will be seeing me again.”
— Ariam Alula, Coda Story

“Very smoothly organised event. Felt very 'high res' in execution. You guys rock, as always. :)”
— ROHIN DHARMAKUMAR, THE KEN

How this works
— and why we're doing this

Low-Res is our way of checking in with you.

We'll do one every few weeks. They will focus on the challenges of covid, but even more so on your work in media, especially if you're launching new products or workflows, finding new ways to connect to your audiences, or figuring out new organisational pivots. Let's find new opportunities in this time of covid together.

Join the conversation.

Covid-19 has changed the way we work in media. It's a black swan movement that's opened the door to new audiences, and yet puts a large part of the industry at grave financial risk.

More media events are getting cancelled or postponed. This has a major impact on the network effects of the global media community. Think of all the opportunities lost in new relationships, projects, and knowledge.

What do we do about this? Simple: an online media community check-in! We're calling it Low-Res because it's a quick and dirty idea and we all know video conferences can be pretty fuzzy 😀

Who are we? We're Splice. It's nice to meet you.
